Principal's Message

The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically.
Intelligence plus character that is the goal of true education.

Taxsila Public school aspires all students to succeed in their world. It offers a wide variety of challenging, enjoyable and successful curricular opportunities, athletic programmes, performing arts and musical programmes with various activities.

It is our belief that school should be the experience of a life time. Our high school experience sets the stage for success later in life and provides a lifetime of positive memories for our students.

Academic excellence with character and personality development is our ultimate goal. The well chalked out academic and co-curricular programme enables the students to attain their full potential to develop sound work habits. The academic work is centered on highly personalized attention and supervision.

This institution was created with an objective of providing an outstanding 360 degree education in character building, leadership, extra and co-curricular activities along with academics along with a very strong, dedicated and capable team of educators who became the driving force in the growth of the School.

We also dedicate this coveted honor to all our students for displaying exceptional hard work in the pursuit of excellence by achieving distinctions in academics. Their dedication and respect makes us proud.

It is rightly said that “A dream becomes a goal when action is taken towards its achievement” and we are committed in taking constructive and purposeful actions to produce optimistic, independent, compassionate, life-long learners and leaders who will bring glory to the School, State and the Nation.

Effective time management is the need of the hour, need of the student, the teacher as well as the parent, Students need to be ALERT, to be an OPTIMISTIC WORKER, to be CONFIDENT, to be an ACTIVE LEARNER, to be PERSISTENT, to be GENEROUS, to be TEMPERATE, to be CHEERFUL and to be ONES OWN SELF. We as teachers can play the role of effective facilitators of learning by making children understand HOW to LEARN EFFECTIVELY rather than telling them WHAT TO LEARN.

Our goal is not only to promote literacy, but more importantly, to inspire our students to read and write as part of daily life. We focus on enhancing students’ ability to think critically and creatively, and to be innovative problem solvers and proficient communicators; to speak and write effectively and clearly – across all subjects.
